Casie Farrell

DJ Casie Farrell is a rising force in the Texas electronic music scene, known for her high-energy hard groove, tech house, and house sets that keep dance floors moving. Raised in Houston, Casie has been immersed in club and nightlife culture since she was 16, and the arts have shaped her life since age 3, when she first started dancing—a passion she carried through the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and later into a dance program at the University of Arizona.

She didn't pick up a set of decks until age 35, graduating from The DJ School Dallas in 2020. The spark came a few years earlier, in 2016, during a trip to Berlin where a night at the legendary Tresor nightclub left her entranced by the power of a DJ to move a thousand people—this while she was working for a non-profit in international affairs and diplomacy, about as far from the club world as it gets. That night planted a seed that would eventually grow into a full-time career behind the decks.

Since then, she has become a fixture across Texas venues, developing a sound that blends hard groove, tech house, and deep groove-driven house. She has held a residency at Nusr-et and played sets at Komodo, New York City, Oklahoma, and rooms throughout Texas, supporting acts including Oostil, Gettoblaster, Mike Dunn, Bruno Furlan, and Offaiah, and closing for The Crystal Method at Burning Man.

Her rise has drawn national and local press, from a cover feature in the Dallas Observer to profiles in Voyage Dallas and CanvasRebel. In 2025, she won the contest stage at Seismic Dance Event 8.0, delivering a standout set that positioned her as one of Dallas's breakout electronic artists, and was subsequently selected as an official SXSW 2026 artist, continuing her ascent onto the national and international stage.
